Bandicam vs Fraps comparison

Bandicam size is only larger than fraps while comparing "Lossless RGB" in both programs.

Lossless is a codec which doesn't lose any quality while recording and when comparing this feature Fraps is more efficient than Bandicam.

However, if you continue to watch the video you will see that "normal" codecs aka lossy, which most people uses will indeed be smaller than Fraps. You judge the quality though. It's all in the video. =)

Let me get this straight. Bandicam and fraps are both good recorders, however they differ from computer. Some computers can record with bandicam better. I personally cannot (it lags like hell and pic quality is rubbish) but fraps is great for ME. So it is up to your comp and different factors as well so you need to test out the trial versions for both just so you know what it is like for you. That is what a trial is for!

this is all about the file size?? why does it even matter to you guys? you're not going to be uploading right after recording, use sony vegas or somthing to convert to mp4, i want to know which one has less fps drops

you mixed up the files dude.
I get a little less then 20 fps while recording with fraps but I get a bit more then 50 fps with bandicam. the files of fraps are larger and with the free version you can record 30 seconds with fraps and 10 minutes with bandicam.
overall: fraps - 0 points
bandicam- 3 points
a difference of 100%
so the only reason you have your results are; you mixed up the files.

actually the uncompressed file is less laggy as long as you have a fast hard disk.

fraps is neither better or worse than all of those recorders. They differ from comp to comp. But one fact - EZVid is just about profit (although it is free) and they advertise like hell, but rendering the video takes SO LONG. 1 minute and about 5 mins rendering.
