Oh Max, to be clear, I don't actually watch to see what you are achieving. I watch because I love your energy, and your commitment to kindness. I would watch you and Occy play board games, sit on the porch, talk about whatever you are up too. I am physically not able to leave my home to spend time with the people I love. So your videos are my way of having coffee with a sweetheart I would enjoy being friends with, and his epic pup. Of course I appreciate the beauty of your land, and all of your adventures. But if I wanted to be entertained, I have Netflix for that. I watch your channel, because it's nice to know there is this compassionate, energetic, and funny guy out there, that it genuine, and that I get to invite into my home some Sunday mornings. Max take your time doing the place up. To me there is no need to rush the renovations just to show ppl on you tube. I see the supervisor Occy is asleep on the job again. Im now 72, in the burbs on the east coast NSW. 40 odd years ago i headed off to start a community in Tassie. House and everything built with hand tools. Brace and bit, draw knife, hammers and chisels etc. No power and no battery powered tools. Watching your adventures I say go the technology, make life as easy as you can so you have time to rest and smell the roses/coffee.
Looking back i think i just wanted to see if our family could build a mud brick house etc by hand. Dont regret the experience but I did decide i wouldnt do it again. Thanks for all your heart and kindness.
