Author, Speaker, Coach LaShaundria Coleman delivers a speech about entrepreneurship at Living Your Life In The overflow event. She provided her audience with three tips.

Tip #1 Maintain An Entrepreneurial Mindset:
Maintain the mindset of a businessman or a businesswoman. Meaning you have to understand that in the business world there will be good times and bad times. Times where you risk it all and times where you gain significantly. There will be ups and downs and you always have to have a positive attitude and stay flexible in your approach. The approach that you take determines your results. Mindset over Matter!!

Tip #2 Plan:
Saying goes When you fail to plan you are essentially planning to fail. You have to have a plan for your business. When you experience difficulties in your business you won't be surprised because you created a plan for challenges that might arise. Always have a plan, you should not leave anything to chance. There is always a 99.9% chance that things will change so be proactive and plan. Wise people plan ,however, fools leave their business operations to chance. Proper preparation beats piss poor performance. 

Tip #3 Incorporate Technology Into Your Business: 
We live in the information age which is also known as the computer/ digital age. Whether you have a big or small business an online presence is essential to the survival of businesses today.  Statistics show that over 69% of people shop online, not including online shoppers from other countries. Those numbers are expected to increase over the next several years. 

The current state of the market displays the necessity for online business presence. While traditional brick and mortar businesses are being forced to abandon their regular business routines, online businesses are not affected as much. Incorporate technology into your business to increase your chances of providing your products or services uninterrupted by economic  conditions and reach new untapped markets. 

Ex. Mom and Pop Restaurants are being forced to suspend their dine in service (Which hurts waitresses too) If new technology is incorporated they will have their business listed on doordash, postmates or uber eats as a verified restaurant and they can still deliver to customers without having to hire a ton of delivery drivers. Just one of many ways a business can benefit from incorporating technology into their operations.
