I have the DJI Pocket 3 and the iPhone 15 Pro Max and to me the Pocket 3 shoots better video than the iPhone 15. I took it to my trip to Las Vegas a few days ago and I used both and the DJI video looked better in day and night. So from now on whenever I need to shoot video I use my Pocket 3 and for photos I use my iPhone 15.

Pocket 3 is extremely popular. It's smaller and has mechanical stabilization, and you get good kit with the Creator Combo version. DJI New Zealand has sold out already but said they should be getting another shipment in by early December 2023.

I definitely use both my iPhone and the DJI Pocket 3, but I do high risk stuff like mount the Pocket 3 to the outside of my car, attach it to a 25 foot pole to get drone like shots in drone restricted areas and mount it to my boat. I don't wan't to risk my phone, which I rely on to run my business, so the pocket is a perfect companion for my shooting needs... The DJI Pocket 3 along with my DJI Air 3 drone covers about 90% of my shooting needs before I need to break out my Fuji X-H2s and a gimbal.

Thank you for mentioning the awful green flares on the iphone. Not everyone talking about filming on the iphone mentions it. Pro- Res is amazing but not as Pro the moment those green ovnis show up on the footage. Not that pro. That's the one reason I don't use mine at night, unless if I can control the lighting conditions. Otherwise, the Pocket 3 does an amazing in low light and even at the regular video settings with D-Log and perhaps some minor NR in post. The Pocket 3 is definitely a must have!

I got them both because they fill completely different uses. If I were walking around or filming things with movement I'd pick up the osmo. If I were trying to get details, or shots that needed more length, I'd use the iPhone. Different tools for different uses.

Great video dude. I’ve always said if you’re just strictly for short social media, (instagram TikTok) use a Phone. If you’re professional and more YouTube focused, use a real camera. Pocket 3 is perfect.

I think a good question to ask is: If you already have an iPhone should you invest another 700 for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, or, buy a much cheaper DJI gimble or Insta 360 Flow 170USD which gives your iPhone all the features that the DOP3 has!

Everyone was reviewing the expensive bundle which is fine but it's sold out and it's way more expensive so it's dope that you went out and got the standard bundle yourself. Way more realistic and relatable for most people

The only reason why I got the pocket 3 is is the sensor size, active track that works so well and the audio capabilities. Oh, and the screen is amazing!

I bought the pocket 3 a week ago and am very happy with the upgrades from my pocket 1 and 2.Thanks for your video .I watch as many as I can ....I have used the 5 preset options to create my own quick draw settings, one of which has my own low-light preferences that I prefer over the dedicated Camera option.

Yes the Pocket 3 looks great! Just one thing not mentioned. What happens if it’s raining? The Osmo is vulnerable to moisture with no weather sealing. So the iPhone would be a better choice. Maybe DJI will release a waterproof version, it’s technically possible? Anyway, good comparison vid, cheers👍

What a pretty cool camera and it’s incredible to see the footage we’re able to capture from such relatively small devices compared to your standard bulky mirrorless cameras. One thing I really enjoy about the iPhone 15 Pro is how efficient it is to edit on it. I often use LumaFusion to edit 4K HDR content for my channel and it’s truly like having an editing studio in my pocket. I also have the 512gb model so space is generally not an issue. Great video comparison!

The versatility on the Osmo is incredible. I can see TV journalist using this ... This device is for professional content creators and usable in the pro realm. This is B-roll heaven. I have an idea that would really make it pop off.

Pocket 3 has been great for our content. Even survived a fall on concrete at about 5ft. I don't recommend dropping it or walking while on an attachable tripod stand. It has cosmetic dings on it but still works great!

I am quite disappointed by my iPhone 15 camera performance: 1) It needs massive amount of light to perform decently. That put severe limitations on its ability to do indoor shots. 2) Not being able to shoot in 4K when in action mode is a significant drawback. 3) Having to use an external drive to shoot in Log profile is simply not very practical. 4) Forget about shooting anything at night or in low light conditions. Overall just a big disappointment.

Every thing you shot seem close to dusk which is where both cameras look great. The pocket 3 struggles in BRIGHT BRIGHT daytime and the nd filters are a must, they really should have included it with the creator combo. Pocket 3 WAY better overall than iphone tho.

For my Vlog shooting everyday, I am now satisfying with the very versatile combo: caught on action with Go 3 (everywhere everymove outdoor that need to get quicker and no getting much attention of the people + iPhone 15 Pro for the details or focus subjects (foods or scenery, low light/ indoor). Pocket 3 is seem to be nice but to get one more device that cost me half a thousands for the same functions and also make me more care/storage/apply for everyshot totally is not an ideal.
