Anchors are super easy! All you do is drill a hole around the same size and hammer them in. Then screw like normal! Google and phone calls with my dad were how I survived living alone for the first time!

Go to your local hardware store and ask questions. They’ll be able to guide you and answer questions you’ve got.

Hi Keegan love, I don't normally comment but I just wanted to sort of echo everyone else in the comments and offer grace!! And also codependent and dependent are very different things! We are meant to lean on others during times of transition, especially moments like these (not that you're not amazing and capable on your own) but it isn't a bad thing to lean into community care! It's VERY important in our hyper-productive, independent mindset focused world :)

Maybe you can look into glass tint for that sliding door. They have tint that keeps the light and heat controlled.

The metal in the wall, you should laugh yourself happy that you hit. It was most likely a cabel or wather pipe protector. They put them up inside the wall to protect you from drilling into them. If it wassent there it could have been a electric cable you drilled into. There is a took to find cables in a wall, buy it❤

Keegan Invest on your closet, its for your use and its your place, i know it can be expensive, but it can be even more expensive to repair it if some of your DIY projects dont go good. You are amazing persona and strong lady. We just have some better skills at other things that being handy, its ok to not know how to do everything. i learned the hard and expensive way that is better to seek or pay for help if you can not do something . You can even get hurt

Just remember, the best designers and contractors in the world learned from trying, making mistakes, and then trying again until they learned. The point is, you did try and now you know to never understand any circumstance hang a mirror with Command Strips even if it worked before. Walls have different textures. Better a couple holes in the walls than you getting cut and have to get stitches.

I wasn’t a handy person around the house until I bought a house. My dad is teaching me how to do repairs and maintain around the house. It would be cheaper for you and better for you. If you started learning it’s really not that hard.
I had pay people for something before, but now when I think about it, I could’ve did it myself
