Love these options! Idk about y’all but I love my slings to be on the smaller side. If I want something with more capacity, that’s when I’ll turn to a backpack. Something about the aesthetic of a scaled up Fanny pack just looks funny to me 😅

My work bag is the alpaka sling max 2.... Superb usability. The only downside is the tablet compartment zipper is source for water to get in as the end of the zipper doesn't have a end cover

I think there is a conspiracy not to show the short end of bravo sling max strap. The one shot I could have clearly seen the short end, and he wore it backwards so the padding was not on his shoulder and his arm covered that end.

Great review and comparison. Some of these are really good ...However...
AER Tech Sling 2 ...for me is better than all of these. Sleeker. MAt-Black and has the right amount of pockets. Love it!
Better even that that is the Tumi Higgins Sling. Takes my Surface Pro, another tablet batteries and EDC kit along with a water bottle in a dedicated waterproof lined zipped up pocket ...can take a 20ounch bottle. There is even a pouch that can take another smaller water bottle if you need to have that with you. The sling is A Tardis! Absolutely love it.

A bit late but that Aer 3 litre sling is about the maximum size i would go for. Any bigger than that you're better off with a proper backpack. It took me a long time to fix my shoulder imbalances from carrying a heavy sling bag mostly on my right shoulder.

I used the charging port with Alpaka V2 in the travels in Asia taking lots of pics and video on vacation. Daily use my phone to always charged …

Patagonia Atom Sling 8L remains my fave - practical stylish build doesn't look like a box, comfortable, padding and pockets in all the right spots, zips all face upwards so you can't lose anything. Shame you no longer sell them

I like the look and feel of the Bellroy so much, but the lack of a compartment/separator for a tablet is a dealbreaker :( - and for the Alpaka larger sling the lack of straps on the bottom to attach a coat or tripod.

Ended up with the AER Day Sling 3 for little items / passport control / lightweight carry and leaning towards the AER Travel Sling for day to day carry when I need my 14" Macbook with me.
