Made for only one year, 100% factory stock and time capsule fresh, this model represents a pristine example of 1950s Neptune City era Danelectro manufacturing. Barely played, lively frets and a straight neck allow the action to go as high or as low as you prefer, with zero issues over the entire register. An ingenious fully compensated floating bridge design allows for perfect intonation. The electronic circuit is noise free and these pickups… Clean, clear and punchy is what these height adjustable lipstick pickups provide with an emphasis on mid-range presence. A great reason these instruments add value to any recording situation and sit well in a live mix.
Based off the acoustic “Convertible” model design, it boasts a 2 1/8” body depth with plenty of resonance. Aside from a few other cosmetic appointments and the tailpiece, this instrument is similar in every way to the “Standard” model used by countless artists.
