I love how he said, “ this is the younger brother to pizza”. He is absolutely correct! Thumbs up!

A lot of cultures have similar stuffed hand pies. A few of note: Jamaican meat patties (they'd probably love the spice!), empanadas (from Latin America, not sure which country of origin), and Cornish pasties (pronounced past-eeze, a miner's staple). All worth a try, if you haven't yet.

They called it the "younger brother of pizza" and they are right. A calzone is made using pizza dough, and the same toppings as pizza (marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and usually pepperoni sausage). And the only place you can usually find them is at pizza parlors and Italian restaurants.

Another great video. I do wish you had a globe so you could indicate what country the food item is from, and where they are in relation to that country.

I believe it’s supposed to have a side of marinara sauce with it, to dip in.
