I’m 17 years old and from North Carolina. Living in the southern United States exposed me to some epic weather events, including massive thunderstorms, tropical storms, and even snow. Watching weather has been my passion for as long as I remember, so in late 2021, I came to YouTube to share my forecasts with all of you. My channel started off slow, but my audience steadily grew as I posted weather forecasts for the United States. Then, as of early 2023, I’ve been living in Western Europe. This brought a whole new perspective to weather that I wouldn’t otherwise have noticed, and my growing interest in European weather brings me to where I am today!

This reminds me, this year it will be 29 years since we moved into our home. In the January of that year, a short time before we moved in, we decided to come for a stroll round the district. On that day, we had some freezing cold rain, which set as ice on the trees and branches. That years we also had significant snow, particularly in the November.

I remember a Scottish woman who lived a while in Montreal, Canada telling me of sudden freezing rain that brought down pylons and telegraph wires - let's hope we don't get that bad
in Europe. Thanks for your concise forecasts, without the hysteria and dramatisation, which is typical of the UK Met Office.

Hiya WW 😊 - your projections are spot on. We got around 5 cm snow (c. 2 in) in SW🇫🇮. Cold spell caressing us, -13C right now, and warming up a bit till Sunday.
Btw: Aurora Borealis season is in full throttle in Lapland, but down by the Helsinki area, they can be seen but are not as colorful as in Lapland.

Here in Germany near the Luxembourg border, we had snow at night. However, the temperatures will rise to almost 10 degrees today. It will be all rain for the coming days. Tomorrow we could have even warmer weather before the cold comes back.

Here in Albania were having a strong warm sirocco wind right now and nonstop rain. Everything will change after 2-3 hours when the cold front will pass and there will be a sharp drop in temps. Unfortunately with the decrease of temps, precipitation will stop and the sky will clear, so there won't be any chances of low elevation snow here in the northwest☹️. Cool and dry in the weekend and much milder with rain next week

Always been interested in weather forecasting; this channel is one of the best. Simulation and flow patterns etc. give a clear pattern. The NAO was for me an eye opener. Is this the same as an Omega blockade? Thanks from the Low Countries (Netherlands ;-) )

I have the quad in shed full tank of fuel Incase the snow and ice does land, the big alloys on the Toyota are useless on it, enjoy the quad in snow, keep up the good work 👍

Great video Weather Watcher as always!!! There's been talk of a winter storm in North Texas on January the 8th through the 10th, Latest 12z GFS shows a snowstorm for North Texas, I know it's far out. Do you think it could happen??
