I think she was sorting out the logic. Mom is friend but mom is human. Beacher is friend but Beacher is dog. She said ‘human Beacher you’. I think she is trying to work why you and Beacher are both friend but you are human and Beacher is dog. This is amazing. She’s working out human language.

One of the things that gets me is how quickly Bunny responds "Human Beecher You". That was quick. Whatever her meaning, she knew what she wanted to say right away.

Poor Bunny seems to find this concept confusing, but her trying to understand it at all is incredible. Most dogs would get frustrated and quit trying to make sense of it I think.

Bunny wants to belong. Friend is a good word to use to make her feel like she belongs. She doesn't like to think too much about being separate and different...as most pack animals probably don't...it makes them worry. Lol.
