Bruce Jacobsen and Dick Watermolen from Vietnam2Now and POW/MIA Remembrance Committee are joining us tonight to talk about this year’s National POW/MIA Recognition Day on September 20th. The goal of the event is to attract a broader audience and support patriotism. The event is free and will be held at 7:00pm at Loves Park City Hall and the Keynote Speaker will be Cindy Rowe. Music will be provided by the Rockford Wind Ensemble and it is a great event for the whole family. Bruce and Dick are also helping us make Chili Sweet Potatoes for Air Fry Day. Make sure to check out our recipe below.
