Ohio State College Football Playoff Hype Video 2014

I do not own any of the clips shown in this video. Credit goes to BTN The journey and David Trichel and the osu production team for the clips. I do not own any music played in this video. These are clips from numerous videos put together credit to Trevor Browning for some of the sequence and the song is by Hanz Zimmer in his Man of Steel Album. I am simply legally sharing these clips and music to create a football hype video as my right to do so. After a tough end to the 2013 season and a loss of Heisman candidate Braxton Miller to injury, Ohio state bounced back after a loss to Virginia Tech, avenged their loss to Michigan State, won the Big Ten Championship by demolishing Wisconsin 59-0 and has entered the first ever College football Playoff. These boys have gone through great adversity and champions at heart. What a heck of a season so far. Go Buckeyes! Beat Alabama!

There is a real brilliance in this video, not only because of the shot selection (which uses close-ups like never seen), the editing and the music, All standards of hype videos. The essence of this video goes much deeper. It is an extreme close-up showing the nature of OSU's hardships this season and their unique ability to overcome and triumph over adversity, In this regard it is brilliant.

I'm not sure you realize how profound your music choice was.  As most know, the band has been through a brutal season as well, losing their unquestioned leader, and being drug through the mud by the University for ulterior motives.
The theme song for that leader (based on his rookie nickname of Clark Kent) and of this whole season has been the Man of Steel theme song.  
And by selecting that music, you have tied the challenges that thousands of us TBDBITL alumni and current members have dealt with this year, in parallel to such an amazing football season.

amazing to see how far we've come even after all our misfortunes. through the loss of two QBs and the death of a teammate, we've made it to the playoffs. and people are still underestimating us? we deserve some major respect. I'd like to see how far bama would get with their third string QB.

Best one I've seen.  Gave me chills.  No matter what happens in the final four, this 2014 team will go down as one of my favorites.  At 2:35 was when this season went from so-so to something special.

I'm a hardcore Michigan State fan, but I want to congratulate Ohio State for the win against us. I have to admit that they played better than us. Also, great job against Alabama. Great hype video, Kevin. All the clips you included have been used in other videos, but somehow you have captured the spirit of not only the team, but Buckeye Nation as well so much better than the others have. I think it is the music that keeps me coming back to watch it over and over again.  As for all the Buckeye hating drivel the other commentators (Cliff, in particular) have added here, get over yourselves. We love our team just as much as you love your team.
