Bought this bow a year ago or so from a very reputable bow shop in Texas, it was my first bow, and at 58 years old, I just keep smiling at the pleasure of hitting what lm aiming at, 68 lbs 29.5 dl. Very pleased with this bow, black ops, loving it.

I just got mine, but I've had many bows over the years and I must say that this one is the best by far.

Adjusting Draw Weight on the Edge 320: I watched all kinds of videos extensively while setting up my diamond edge 320. But one thing I could not find anywhere on the web was approximately how many pounds each dot on the adjustment mechanism equals. Demonstrating the easy adjust system on the SB1 here, you guys state that each complete turn of the adjustment bolt equals approximately 2 lbs. So I adjusted my bow to the max 70 lb and backed off 10 turns to get 50 lbs but it was nowhere near that. 10 turns almost has the string falling off the cams. Using scales and weights I was able to determine that backing off the max weight, I lose about 5 lbs per complete turn. So to set my bow at 50 lb for practicing, I only had to back it off four turns. An equation of 5 lbs per turn of the adjustment bolt seems like a fairly accurate equation down to at least 40 lbs. (BTW, On my bow 50 lb was almost right on the 4th dot from the max setting.)

I wanted to report what I think is the tune issue with my 2023 right-hand Diamond Alter which had a bad nock right tear as stock (which required major cam shimming and a very wide 1" center shot to correct, resulting in the arrow, grip, and string to be out of alignment at brace).... and my corrective solution/fix using the EZ adjust pocket system. Day one when I put the bare bow flat on my kitchen counter, the Alter had an out of square rock meaning the limbs were not parallel. It is not unusual for this to be 2 mm or so (compared to my other high end and mid priced compound bows), but this was more pronounced at 4.5 mm. With an equipped bow you can test for square by laying the bow spanning the kitchen sink so the sight and rest don't touch down. The 2023 Diamond Alter and several other Diamond models have the EZ adjust pocket system as shown in this video with tongue and set screw system that allows the opportunity for limb pocket shimming. I lowered poundage 10 turns out, pressed the bow, slipped the string off the cams, and completely de-tensioned the limbs. I then backed out the lower limb pocket set screw, loosened the lower fulcrum set bolt, and fit a slim 0.020 shim from my 3/16" shim kit between the left side of the limb pocket tongue and the riser hole, captured by the set screw. I reassembled, cranked up the bow to shooting poundage, and then tightened the limb pocket set screw and fulcrum set bolt. This reduced the out of square from 4.5 mm to less than 2 mm, pivoted the lower limb tips to the left, moved the string to the left, got my center shot back to normal, corrected the right nock tear, and now the string at brace splits the grip axis like it should. Shoots really good now with no right tear, very accurate, no hand shock or bow twist upon release, and string/grip/arrow in much better alignment. Mine could have been a one off, out of alignment. It was easily correctable and the bow is a great shooter with many great attributes.

He doesn't mention that you should loosen the limb pocket set screw(s) before limb bolt adjustment and retighten the set screw after adjustment. I recommend not over tightening the limb pocket set screw(s) because it is common to forget to loosen them before limb bolt adjustment. I don't think you can do any damage if you forget, but you can any eliminate potential damage if they are not super tight.

Great bow, but all of them have the same defect - when set at 27+ inches the cable does not have enough clearance and always touches the lower cam's string stop module when not drawn and after every shot. It will degrade the cable and could lead to a possible bow failure as the degradation is hidden beneath the cable. Or even derailment if the cable will connect more.

The company is aware of this problem, but will not do anything about it.

How many lbs are each notch on the ez adjust scale?

Where is the actual max draw weight? Currently I'm at 48 but the screw is lined up with the MAX indicator. It looks like it can move another centimeter at least.... but is this something I should do or is it bad to go above the MAX on the scale?
