I would've preferred Bakugo being barely awake and deciding to give the quirk back to Deku. I think it would've fit his character better to say "I don't need it I can be the no. 1 without it" or something instead of just "he passed out before the transfer was completed😐" or "one for all did something miraculous 😐"

So if I understand correctly
Allmight thought OFA returned back to deku because bakugou lost consciousness before the transfer could be completed, but that wasn't the case because right after he said that, he also said " no this is a miracle " and the screen immediately flips to previous OFA users
So It looks like the OFA users subwillingly returned the power to deku, kind of make sense that the OFA power acted on his own since deku is the only user who has kind of been able to communicate to OFA, it's like the OFA likes him because of his sheer will power.
but these are just my thoughts based on what allmight said in the END .

I think that the main difference is that Midoriya was cornered and he gave Kacchan OFA out of necessity, not will. So the previous users gave Kacchan an ember, and that's the fire that explodes and then vanish. It's not Midoriya's.
