Yes they look similar. They probably took inspiration directly from them. That being said, cases like this set precedents for future lawsuits and there isn’t much to call original to the real band. The band probably took inspiration from early 2000’s girls dolls and colored hair is not unique enough to call this a blatant robbery of ip.

And it was all because they didn’t keep up with the licensing throughout the years which was only 100 dollars a year to pay😢😢. Them folks DID copy that group because I remember even back then omg girls had an app where you could create your own omg cartoon which looks EXACTLY like them damn dolls. Remember people if y’all legal shit not taken care of, it’s not yours 💯🤷

Funny I’m waking up to this and I just received my official trade mark for my business. It’s important to do these things and secure that type of stuff. We all know the powers that be always looking to find the next big thing and claim it as their own. From content “creators” stealing black peoples likeness from dancing, music, fashion, anything that’s creative and ours THEY look to steal and make it their own. protect yours at all times and do your homework and stop giving away our great ideas to these 🤡s
