Awwww, my favorite deck!  I especially love the strength card in this deck.  The woman with the wild boar is a wonderful image for strength with gentleness.  A very helpful reading for me at this time.

Hi Kate. The deck you have chosen this week gives a very strong feeling of mental strength....specially the bright red / orange of the two cards . Amazingly, in India we are celebrating the festival of Navararta....where by we pay homage to Goddess Durga, who is the symbolism of Strength ( especially for women ) . Couldn't have been a better time for these cards to appear in the reading for the week.
The centre card...the queen of swords the intelligence & the clarity of thoughts within (meditating) with the thought of facing the so well with the festive mood of celebrations .

That Queen of Swords, I hope, is strategizing, due to her facing herself at the weekend. How can she use her intellect to fortify herself for tackling what needs to be done? That's what I hope this means for me. And I love that it's all these women this week. Feeling strong.

Ah Deja Vu: While somewhat 'cartoonish' this wonderful deck is a great one to annotate and use with People of European decent.  Comparing the Major Vlll  from Rider Waite Smith will  demonstrate a flowered garland and the sign of infinity - both implied in this depiction by her arm and the tat on her deltoids... and as usual with Kates' readings the whole is quite cohesive if one can 'see'  the inner meaning conveyed: A fiery spirit tempered by an airy authority requiring inner strength to control the baser instincts in us and around us.
