Doug Ramsey, COO of Beyond Meat, just lost his job in the dumbest way possible. In a fit of road rage, he punched another driver, and went as far as to biting his nose.

It’s no surprise that Ramsey was immediately arrested and fired from his job.

For Beyond Meat, it’s been a cherry of suffering on top of a sundae of pain. This year has been brutal for the company, which has seen its stock drop 86% amid declining sales and negative consumer opinion.

Consumers are feeling the pinch due to inflation, and are shying away from purchasing meat alternatives, which are still marketed and priced as premium products

Beyond's issue is that they are so damn expensive. I've been vegan 2.5 years and was vegetarian 3.5 before that so 6 years meatless in total. I've bought beyond burgers 1 time and that was to have my mother try them. I honestly prefer cheaper meat alternatives since I'm not use to that "meaty" taste anymore.
