The PROBLEM With Justice League Crisis On Infinite Earths

Justice League Crisis On Infinite Earths Part Two" sounds like a pivotal continuation in the expansive DC animated saga, tapping deeply into the beloved and complex "Crisis on Infinite Earths" storyline originally seen in DC Comics. This sequel not only propels the narrative forward by gathering an array of heroes across the DC multiverse but also signifies a critical juncture, marking the impending conclusion of the TomorrowVerse. The strategic aligning with the end of this universe and the initiation of James Gunn's new DC Universe (DCU) suggests a coordinated effort to unify and possibly reboot the overarching DC narrative across media. The assembly of iconic characters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Green Arrow, along with a host of others, emphasizes the magnitude of the threat they face. The concept of heroes from various dimensions coming together showcases the typical high stakes and epic scope expected from such a monumental crossover. Looking ahead to Part Three, the potential inclusion of elements from other beloved DC properties—such as cameos by characters voiced by notable actors like Kevin Conroy, or even appearances from Young Justice and Teen Titans—could serve as both a homage to the rich history of DC's animated universe and an exciting teaser for longtime fans. Incorporating these elements would not only enrich the narrative but also bridge the gap between past and future DC animated series and films, creating a cohesive and interlinked universe that acknowledges its roots while paving the way for new stories. With fans eager to see how their favorite characters from across the DC multiverse interact and face challenges together, Part Three holds significant promise for delivering both nostalgia and fresh adventures. It's an ambitious undertaking that, if executed well, could solidify the legacy of the TomorrowVerse while thrillingly setting the stage for the next era of DC's animated exploits.

I’m 99% sure they rushed tomorrow verse crisis event because it’s gonna reboot into James Gunn DCU animation universe.

Crisis on infinite earths as a movie deserves a bigger budget and excellent writing.

Bland is the word I'd use to describe these tomorrow verse movies.

There’s alot of tomorrowverse problems but my biggest thing and idk how to explain it, it feels so dead. The line delivery in general is pretty flat and then between each line there’s just so much dead air, so much vacuous space with no sound design or music and it doesn’t feel like back and forth dialogue it feels like people in separate rooms reading a list of lines.

this 'trilogy' is one bloated mess. I totally forgot what happened in the first movie, and in this one, they spent so much time in backstory of the psycho pirate but not the Anti-monitor! Why? It could've done without so many scenes. I can't know when DC animation became so boring.

have you noticed that hbo max took off a lot of their animated dc stuff? like the dcamu, the constantine thing, under the red hood and just a lot of stuff

Even though the tomorrow verse isn’t the best and wasn’t gonna get better, I’m pretty sure the crisis was rushed because it’s going to reboot into the DCU James Gunn era animated universe.

BRUH don't even get me STARTED about their advertisement for their animated movies! Had it NOT been for your channel and the videos I wouldn't have even knows there was a universe that continued after the doomsday apocalypse movie! I had missed SO MUCH and didn't know this continued from that!

I really don’t mind that Damian was also here. Because this is the first time I’ve ever seen the three children of Batman together

The sad part is that I don’t even think the Crisis movie is bad. It’s got pretty solid to good writing. The main issue is that the universe itself is underbaked. This movie should’ve been something come out like 15 movies later

It's kinda crazy how people originally said the CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths was so underwhelming and bad yet here we are 4 years later. Because I have seen tons of people come around and say "Hey CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths wasn't so bad. We were way too harsh on it." With the animated movies along with The Flash movie (because it also has cameos, deals with the multiverse and was supposedly the launching pad for James Gunn DC's universe) it really puts into perspective on how to execute a multiverse destroying story that involves dozens of cameos to pay homage to everything that came before.

I had such high expectations for this and instead took me 3 tries to watch it without falling a sleep

I've been a casual fan of DC animation since the original Batman animated series and I can hardly keep up with what's going on because I missed a few movies. I didn't even know about the first Crisis movie until I saw the second one had recently dropped. WB really needs a new marketing team.

It's kinda funny, they have Batwing show up for like 2 seconds in the beginning with the Batfamily, and then he's gone for the rest of the movie. At least John Stewart got a badass moment, unlike in the DCAMU where he dies before finishing his GL oath and trying to punch Darkseid. Yeah, he wouldn't beat Darkseid, but you could've let him try.

Crisis on infinite earths is vastly becoming an overused adaption this shouldn't be a universe “endgame” there are plenty of crisis’ that are better to adapt into movies or shows like infinite crisis, final crisis, identity crisis, heroes in crisis. Worldly to Universal threats are just fine when you start to go multiversal you seem to lose the plot very easily.

the problem for me is that they didnt get more movies, the crisis movies as of now are good but due to james gunn wanting to have the animated projects be tied to the dcu they had to rush this

100% there should be a batman beyond movie, an earth 2 batman movie and a kingdom come superman movie at the very least

I like the way it tied into the rest of the Tomorrowverse by showing where Supergirl was before Legion of Superheroes and the reveal that Psycho Pirate was the one controlling Aquaman in Justice Society WW2. Also revealing that Psycho Pirate was disguised in the Blue Beetle showcase was cool. But as a movie, it wasn’t great and didn’t feel like a complete film. The Batman parts felt unnecessary and it needed a stronger conclusion.
