Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX & Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon Announced at BitSummit!

Inti Creates went on stage at BitSummit 2018 to announce their two latest games! A new Azure Striker Gunvolt game starring arch-rival Copen, called Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX. And an 8-bit companion game to the Bloodstained kickstarter game, Curse of the Moon which launches on May 24th! Watch for the full details and more announcements!

This and the bloodstained announcement caught me off guard. I'm one of he biggest CV fans you'll know and CoM looks fucking spectacular!

Also so glad to have a new GV title. Copen's gameplay was arguably better so it's great to see more. Was afraid a third GV would be ages away and even if it's a gaiden title im happy. I'll have to pick up that complete works set

Bloodstained looks more that awesome! it's a throwback to not only the original Castlevania, but specifically Castlevania 3, with the multiple characters, multiple endings and unique abilities of each character. Memories hehehe
Basically this GV game is the continuation of Copen's story after the true ending of GV2. Probably it'll set the field to the main thing before GV3 (kinda like this game is GV 2.5), and we know more about this guy. I foreshadow that the masked GV-like character is a clone of him... or the original idea of GV2: Copen as the main character and GV under a mind control from Sumeragi, but i throw more that this masked character is a clone... probably one of many experiments of recreating the "Asure Striker" Septima that Sumeragi failed to control before.

Depending on how much time has passed between games the masked guy with the electric sword is either GV chasing Xiao for some reason (doubtful) or simply the original Azure Striker since we know there were 3 of them in total.
Also I need a bigger version of that poster image, all I find are too small.
