Actor Salman Khan abruptly halted the shoot of Bigg Boss 18 upon receiving the heartbreaking news of NCP leader Baba Siddique’s death. The actor, who was shooting for the show, rushed to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, where Siddique was undergoing treatment.

The 66-year-old leader was attacked on Saturday, October 12, night outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddiqui's office in Mumbai's Bandra East, and succumbed to injuries while under treatment. Salman, who had a close relationship with Baba Siddique, arrived at Lilavati Hospital around 12:30 am. The actor has been a regular attendee at Siddique’s renowned annual Iftar parties, which often gather Bollywood's biggest stars.
