The most sobering thing about this scene of this movie, that I watched in a theater as a kid, was that Bruce would eat kids near my age as well. (That's when I was a kid.)
Most movies just target white male adults getting killed, but there was a girl, a boy, and even that innocent dog Pippett got killed. That made "Jaws" more unique.
