A simple method on how to change the color of your rocking chair.

Materials Used:

* Large Mixing Bowl
* 1 cp Measuring Cup
* Large Spray Bottle
* Sanding Sponge 200 or 220 Grit
* Brush Size 2"
* 1 Qt- Glidden Premium Paint (any finish you want, I used semi-gloss)
* Delta Creative Textile Medium 8oz (Bought it at Amazon and i used 4)
* a Tarp or Old Blanket

I love your final project. Just wanted to make sure: 1 part paint, 1 part textile medium, two parts water in addition to spraying down surface with spray bottle? Thanks!

My dad had a small furniture store he started with our living room /dining room and built from there. He always would tell the women, we can paint it any color u want! Everyone would laugh. If he saw this He would have u there doing it. LOL. Have you tried this method with the fabrics that have dimencions? /texture? I have a wonderful sofa but my hubby doesnt like the fall colors. wondering if I painted it if he'd like it. Also how much does it cost to do your blue chair? Tarp -1 brush 2-4? sponge ? delta 8oz, would it be cheaper to get it in a quart?
