Pitch shifters are a game changer for sure especially if you own guitars with floyds

Rob just pumping out bangers we appreciate it.

If you are just trying to transpose in order to avoid using many guitars, Digitech drop tuner is the way to go, just plug and play nothing to worry about. The pitchfork is really cool but it is meant for doing much more than just down tuning.

Rob hitting the Limp Bizkit riff at 1:16 was just what I needed to brighten my day🤘

thanks a lot for this video

I have a digitech drop and upgraded to the pitchfork +
But I struggled a bit to use it correctly, because the manual is not clear!

thanks to you now I can use it fully!!!

Thanks for curating this, Rob! Excellent insight and instruction.

The big plus I see for this pedal is not having to worry about setting up your guitar for all the different strings you’d have to use for the good tension for the all tunings. 10-52s on a 25.5” scale only go so far.

I will be looking into these now, because I also use my main with floyd and go from Half step down, to C# to A# to G# and that's about it but half my set is A# -Eb .

Thanks for mentioning the disconnect between the detuned amp sound and the acoustic string noise from your guitar when in a low volume setting. Had always stayed away from detuners for fear of this issue. Sounds great for a live setting, but sounds annoying for a low volume at home setting.

This setup is so convenient. I love pitch shifting pedals like this one and the digitech drop tuner. You can get some really gnarly sounds!

That was a lot of fun ! Go get a Digitech Drop.

Cool thing you can do is pair this with the digitech FS3X using a stereo/balanced 1/4 inch cable and you can control the whole pedal. 1 button works like a select/next button and the other 2 buttons work as a scroll up and down function. You can scroll through each and every one of those buttons on the face of the pedal AND every thing within those buttons. I use mine to just switch presets. I find the sound of the pitchfork+ to be superior to the digitech whammy but it was sort of difficult to learn how to use fully. I have mine paired with a mission engineering expression pedal also to work exactly like a digitech whammy and I can change my tunings n stuff. I love mine. In fact I sold my digitech whammy dt because I just didn’t use it anymore. lol

Definitely a pedal I need to get my hands on.

Congratulations u now have a PHD in drop tuning!!
So glad I went with the digitech drop pedal. So much simpler

What an awesome pedal, I love that it’s got the preset function. I’ve got a Digitech Drop which is great but looks like the Pitchfork can do it all.

Doing all of that with a drop pedal is definitely something cool! Especially in rehearsals when you really don't have the will to bring more guitars.
The only thing that kinda buggs me is using the 6 string for drop A with the pitch shifter if the song was originally written on 7 strings, my OCD really doesn't allow me to do that lol
