That was very nice. I´m surprised I managed to understand everything. Either you explain very well or I´m actually getting better with godot. Hopefully both

I'm so thankful to you, this really helped me with the game I'm making, the transitions are much less boring and cut-like. thanks!!!!

Very fast, but very helpful! So quick and easy to understand! I will use this in all of my projects! Plus you helped me understand how I can use Singletons and signals a little better through this too!

You quick tutorials have helped me a lot with my 2D platformer I'm making. The audioplayer tutorial was fantastic and I modified my code and logic to utilize it. I tried your method above, but it seems that I can't set a bool value on visible for color_rect. I get this error: invalid setindex 'visible' (on base: 'null instance') with value of type 'bool'

great job! Fast and easy to understand.

To anyone expecting literally ANY coder to not be highly caffeinated hasn't been coding long :D There is a function in the youtube settings to put speed to .75 or .50 of the original speed. If you are having trouble following tutorials...its not gonna change LOL

I really don't see how this would be smooth if the scene load times were different

Hello!
Following this tutorial I am getting the error
"Invalid assignment of property or key 'visible' with value of type 'bool' ona base object of type 'ColourRect'."

I am very new to Godot and trying to make my first game. Please if you know anyway to trouble shoot this it would be greatly apprecited. Thank you

So following this to the letter why do I get transitionscreen not declared in current scope?

This is great thank you, I believe the would also work rather than creating the "fade_ to_normal" animation. 1:05

its been a year since this release but I'm having an issue and hopefully I can get an answer. On the restart() function, I did what you did in the video and it restarts but stays the scene in blur. How can I fix that?
