my top 16 with brief comments for each entry:
1. United Kingdom (solid pop song)
2. Georgia (powerful mid-tempo song with a message)
3. Netherlands (fun kids-friendly entry)
4. Ireland (stunning ethnic ballad)
5. North Macedonia (another fun kids-friendly entry)
6. Armenia (EDM meets disco meets Kpop, blended into a catchy upbeat track)
7. Spain (they never fail in bringing reggaeton/Latin sounds, but it gets a bit boring listening to the chorus a few times)
8. Poland (catchy chorus, but it doesn't vary in its instrumentation; too much bass)
9. France (I love the swinging vibes, but some parts of this song feel slightly annoying)
10. Italy (junior and "senior" tunes combined in one song)
11. Kazakhstan (another strong ballad, but it just doesn't hit me enough)
12. Serbia (I love her classical voice and the violin instrumental, but it is a bit "flat" throughout the whole song)
13. Malta (throwback time)
14. Portugal (another throwback with raspier voice)
15. Albania (as a ballad, it is beautiful; but again, might be forgettable throughout the whole song)
16. Ukraine (great message, but forgettable instrumentation)

My Top 15 with comments:

XX. Ukraine 🇺🇦 — I don’t want to judge the song before I heard the revamp. I think it would be slightly unfair to compare.

1. Spain 🇪🇸 — Very catchy, very modern dance-pop, but it keeps clear Spanish influences in the instrumentation. Love the use of melody and counter-melody in the chorus. (And I don’t think they‘re making him a fuckboy — isn’t he just singing about dancing? We don’t need to over-interpret nonsensical lyrics)

2. Serbia 🇷🇸 — Love the fairytale-y sound of this. Like a waltz where she just calmly sings along and doesn’t need all the high notes to convince. The trombone part is definitely a plus for me — why shouldn’t she show her connections to music? It makes it more personal and unique.

3. Netherlands 🇳🇱 — Quite generic pop, but that makes it immensely catchy. Great instrumentation in the verses. She doesn’t lay her emotions in vocal acrobatics either, she uses fun and energy. I like it.

4. Georgia 🇬🇪 — Awesome use of instrumentation and melody. I love the parts in Georgian, but why does "Thing- what we always need, thing- what we always want, it‘s just a simple peace, I wish it for the world" give me so strong "The air is what they need, the air is what they breathe, they‘ll die without it, it‘s unforgivable" vibes? Great message, great voice, great song, but she should‘ve kept it 100% in Georgian. You’d still understand the message.

5. Armenia 🇦🇲 — I don’t see what’s worse about this than Qami Qami. Of course, the lyrics, but otherwise? The song is very professionally produced and could run in radios all over the world. Immensely catchy and I believe she‘s about to deliver an amazing live performance.

6. United Kingdom 🇬🇧 — Same as with Armenia, really. Seems very serious for a Junior contest, though. But I don’t know how the juries and viewers are going to feel about it. Might be the slightest bit repetitive.

7. Ireland 🇮🇪 — I really like the Irish language and all the elements from Irish culture that were included here, but they‘re really in the background. What remains without that is a pretty solid ballad with pretty standard use of melody and harmony. Sounds nice, though.

8. Portugal 🇵🇹 — Very interesting voice and song. Becomes a bit boring after a while, but I appreciate the uniqueness of the whole product.

9. France 🇫🇷 — I love the swing and running bass in this song, but it is a bit repetitive and his voice can become really annoying.

10. Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 — It‘s a bit too much drama for my taste. But, for what the song is trying to be, it‘s really extremely well executed.

11. Malta 🇲🇹 — Great instrumental part. Would prefer it if the song went anywhere, though. I love the 80‘s vibes here, but I literally never remember any sort of melody here. Beside the instrumental. That does elevate the song.

12. Italy 🇮🇹 — Great verses, disappointing and slightly unoriginal chorus. Sounds very generic, but it‘s catchy.

13. Poland 🇵🇱 — There‘s something about this that makes me feel very uneasy. Is it her too-childish voice? Is it the production that sounds like it was pre-set in some program? Is it the absolutely repetitive melody? I don’t really know why, but I don’t really like it.

14. North Macedonia 🇲🇰 — Great beginning with the „Hit the road, Jack“ bassline, then it becomes ridiculously childish and generic in the chorus part. Not even talking about that stereotypical rap part. I guess no one will understand that I have a big problem in this song‘s failing attempts to use chromatic scales.

15. Albania 🇦🇱 — Very boring and uninspired in my opinion. The generic chorus gets repetitive and the sound of her voice somehow really annoys me.

my top 16 from the netherlands with comments 16 portugal not my style of music 15 serbia cute ballade but that all 14 france not for my 13 i am sorry not my taste 12 albania nice ballade but need more tempo 11 ireland also nice ballade but that is all 10 ukraaine revamp like it more than the studio version 9 italy good bop but lit bit generic 8 poland good bop but i need more tempo here 7 georgia love it more and more but still not top 5 matriaal for my 6 kazstan good ballade but that all 5 spain love spains bops but that is all 4 united kingdom love it good bop but not great enough for my top 3 3 armenia the are slaying again good job love it good bop but not winner 2 malta first this was 15 but now with the revamp i love it very much its so good and catchy gaia quenn 1 my country netherlands love this song so much its so good and catchy the best bop bop bop

Happy to see someone who actually likes Portugal and doesn't particularly like Armenia, it's honestly so overrated just because it's Armenia that sent it and it somewhat has the vibe of Qami Qami, but then as a shallow k-poppy dance song.
