Subaru 2.5rs Suspension Upgrade

Bought a set of used kyb agx struts with tanabe gf springs. I big improvement over the stock suspension!

It might be too late to comment but those are the saggy butt spacers sold by paranoid fabrications to get rid of the surprise surprise “saggy butt” caused by putting in STI or sedan wrx struts on a wagon impreza. They sell them in different sizes. For my impreza wagon a 1/4” was used with the sti springs.

I may go with this setup soon on my RS. My car came with the AGX and stock springs when I bought it. I was fairly happy with that kit until I blew both fronts at a Rally-X. I replaced them with the rather expensive Bilstien PSS9 coilover kit, which I've never been happy with. The PSS9 is impossible to adjust to any cobination that is liveable on less than perfect roads and the ride height, even at it's tallest setting, is just to damn low. Suspension travel is almost nil, regardless of height. The PSS9 basically made me hate my car.

So, what are your impressions of the AGX/Tanabe combo, now that you've had it for a while?

Did you manage top get those Enkei RPFs in the car without any fender rolling? I'm planning to pick some up if they fit the impreza w/o modification

Hey matt, what exhaust did you use for the new motor? A gc one or gd? And did you add a fuel pump controller too? If so where did u get one?
