In this video I demo how to create a Power Automate Flow using an HTTP Request Trigger and then starting the Flow using a Javascript button on a SharePoint page. This example reads the URL parameters and then passes them to Power Automate.
More info include screenshots and code snippets can be found on my blog:

Thanks Steve. As a Jscript Novice this REALLY helped me out. I used your tip to run a Power Automate Flow from a Model Driven App Button.

The flow shows everything executes properly but postman shows a blank response and JS shows a blank response. Is there a problem with Compose? Is that why you used Compose 2? I get a 202 response so something is blocking the regular 200 completion... It must've been an issue with Compose. A Response action works for me.

Great vid mate. Very informative.

Hey I was just wondering - If I use this javascript on my web page does it present a security risk? Just struck me that the power automate URL (With special key etc.) would just be sitting on the page??? Sorry if this is a dumb question!

Hi Steve,

In a similar question to Gilbert, I'm looking to make a web service that can read/update an Excel worksheet but without requiring login, do you know if Power Automate is a dead-end in that way? Any thing else come to mind if so?

Cheers thank you for the clear video!
