i dont understand why big established youtubers dont get this simple thing... Correlation between problems! Thsi is the only solution iavailable in youtube that a) uses a more dp like approach instead of the earn1, earn2 scenraio b) it co relates with house robber in such an intuitive way. Thanks a lot!

Great video.
Especially loved how you relate to previous problems/patterns. That only helps to clear interviews!
Learning one-off solutions, even if optimized is useless.
Best to learn 10 patterns which can make solve 100 questions.

I was not able to solve the problem for many hours....and then I saw the hint of house robbers and in next 5 mins it was done.. All thanks to you

How simply you reduced this to house robber problem. thats a tricky one to explain. have read some of the posts and article explained the same, but could not understand properly. You are such a good instructor. Keep it up )

In house robber problem we need to handle adjacent indexes but in this problem you need to handle value

I got error when i use memset, it shows me that no matching function for call to memset

I have a doubt it seems this logic will not work on [3, 1] and many arrays where the elements are not continous.
