I love the lyrics so much in this because it hits me so hard. It's like no matter how hard you try, it's always going to be "good as it gets." And with how much you try so hard to achieve what you want, there's a nagging feeling in the back in your mind telling you, "Why? What for? If it's all gonna be disappointing?"
And then you just find something else and try to repeat the cycle and ended up feeling unaccomplished.
