I had Apple Watch Series 3 only nine months. But after carefully studying everything including the ECG feature having just being approved in Europe I went out and bought the 44mm Series 4 yesterday. It’s so much more useful than the Series 3 in every way that it was worth it. I’m 64 years old and diabetic. I feel safer being able to collect ECG data routinely and that the watch monitors for atrial fibrillation signs as well as hard falls. The bigger display is fantastic and with more information, I can even use it well without reading glasses. I think this watch is especially useful for those of us who are older.

ECG feature Is fantastic, but for it to really make a difference, I think doctors should be able to prescribe this watch to patients at high risk... If it’s approved, it should be something that CAN be covered by insurance.

I just purchased the Apple Watch Series 3 Nike+ 42mm for $230 after selling the series 2 for $180 so I’ll wait awhile to get series 4
