You can see! the look! in Paul's eyes. He *wants* to tell, he knows the community, but he also knows what'd happen if he does: so I respect him for keeping as much of a poker face as possible given how flustered he looks. Again, look at his eyes: he knows both sides of this scenario.

Well my best guess is 2024 sometime. Hence the trophy in Spyro 3. Party like it's 2024. So I guess we'll have to wait and see

I don’t care what anyone says. Activison and TFB really disappointed Spyro fans and pretty much threw a middle finger at us. Every time there’s a Spyro post that happens there’s so many people that comment about wanting Spyro 4 to happen and after so many posts they don’t acknowledge it then it shows that they don’t care about their community one bit and it’s sad. They had so many opportunities this year and all they do is talk about the reignited’s success and how much they love Spyro and don’t do anything about it other than make him a cameo for Crash.

The guys smirk says more than enough. This is to build traction and gain hype. This is what the devs and the company needs to see people talking about so they can put their hard earned resources into it. Spyro 4 is in fact coming. Buckle up everyone. We are in for one amazing game!

This clip aged interestingly. Turns out the "times ahead" were probably referring to TFB going independent, though this might actually have *raised* the chances of getting Spyro 4, since Activision mostly seemed to want them to churn out multiplayer games.

I'm surprised but not shocked that they didn't announce something at the game awards, it would have been the perfect time tbh. I dunno if it might be to do with the whole transition to microsoft thing or just that tgey don't gave anything ready to show just yet, but I'm sure they have something to reveal soon.

I’d rather they show off the game when it’s good and ready instead of prematurely revealing something that would be hyper criticized just to appease the fickle whims of whiny fans. Game development and release schedules are more complex than you could possibly imagine, and nothing is never as simple as revealing something just because there’s an anniversary or because unruly fans are demanding to see something. Let them cook.
