Some people that didnt read Dune are saying in the trailer's comments that It looks generic...It pisses me off so much because OF COURSE seems like something you watched before... Because Dune INSPIRED all those movies.

Oscar Isaac and Rebeca Ferguson being cast as Timothee's parents is prolly one of the best casting ever.

“They didn’t shoot Jaws in a swimming pool.” That’s the attitude! xD

It's like Oscar Isaac's entire career is a science fiction fantasy where he has to run around in a desert.

Q - "How many A-list actors do you need for Dune?"
Denis Villeneuve - "Yes."

The fact that this was the Sci-Fi novel that started the Sci-Fi boom is absolutely baffling to me. The level of thought that went into the lore is feels like it should be the most recent one. It takes place so far in the future that humans have already created advanced AI, went to war with it, somehow won the war and then collectively banned all kinds of AI/computer technology leading to a sort of reverse renaissance into the religious and mystical. It’s f’ing genius

Chalamet is hilarious when he says he didn't read Dune when he was young :D Colbert and Denis are like "Dude, you're 6".

I have to say, excellent casting for the Atreides family. Paul has his father's eyes and his mother's jawline.

With the video setup, it's SO impressive how much Timothee Chalamet looks like a 50/50 combination of Oscar Isaac and Rebecca Ferguson.

Idk why, but this is the best social distancing interview I have ever seen, so clean, amazing quality and the questions are perfect

Rebecca Ferguson's really showing the quiet, purposeful aspects of her character. It's a real treat! Those piercing eyes - they see, they know. Her loyalty is *earned*, and it makes every character connected to hers stand out all the more. You cannot pull off Dune without a convincingly powerful Jessica.

Rebecca Ferguson's voice is so captivating. When she talks, she commands attention. When she said "her decision creates fracture and disrupts...everything." It was spine tingling.

Denis's description of Timotheé was perfect. His intelligent look mixed with his young appearance is what makes him perfect for the role and as a human being haha. He can't be any more intelligent, sensitive, artistic, beautiful, amazing. He is everything that is good in life 😁

"I demanded that we shoot in the real desert. They did not shoot Jaws in a swimming pool."

After Timmy's disappointment at not being featured more in Interstellar, I think this more than makes up for it.
