After replacement timing belt kit all sounds was gone.

I think 90% that it was the sound of a guide pulley (gm 93178807) because it’s been looked really worn out.

This noise seems fairly common on 2.0CDTi engines which have done 70k+ miles, mine included. I looked at several vehicles, all had this noise apart from a friend's car which has done 40K miles. It is warmth related as it disappears once upto temperature. As it coincides with belt speed, possibly belt tensioner or a pulley?

Nekem is ilyen "kuppogós" hangja van. Kuplung nyomásra, elengedésre neked is változik? (erősödik kinyomott kuplunggal, halkul elengedve) Melegen nekem sem hallatszik, de rohadtul idegesít. A kettőstömegű-kuplung-kinyomó 12.000km-el ezelőtt lett cserélve.

Hi. I have a similar problem. Mine also cuts off when it warms up with a loud ticking noise. Did you discover what it was? please help.
