To get the shells off of boiled eggs, add a little baking soda to the water when you boil them. Also put them in ice water before you peel them. 😊

The older the eggs the easier they peel. I buy eggs at least a week before I need them for deviled eggs to make my life easier. My grown children think it’s not a holiday if I don’t bring deviled eggs.

Once I heard about the instant pot 5-5-5 method for boiled eggs it changed my life. 😊 couldn’t be easier and the shell comes off easily every time. 1 cup of water, eggs (I have a basket for my IP), then pressure cook for 5 minutes, 5 minute natural release, then 5 minutes in a bowl of ice water.

Put some baking soda in the water of your eggs to ensure that the egg shells come of easy, Meghan 🙂

That is something I have noticed about our eggs since having chickens. They are way harder to peel. Baking soda has helped quite a bit but there are still those stubborn ones.

If your Olive oil is source from more then one place, it’s probably mixed with inferior oils. Always good to check the label. I love that your kiddos want Pumpkin pie all year long..yummy.

I found a bunch of the big cans of Libby 100% Pure Pumpkin last week for $1.74 on clearance. I got both cases. We make loads of pumpkin bread, muffins, pancakes in the fall & winter so this saves so much money waiting to buy later.
