I like that you mention "trigger points". WAY back when I was in Opt school, that would have been to esoteric for most of my professors to mention. They likely wouldn't have considered as a "science". Figuring it out that points around the eye can be very painful myself, I feel validated!

What is the best kind of doctor to go for this? Opthamologist? Optometrist? Or Neurovisual practices that does Binocular Vision Testing?

My doctor asked me to look at the vertical red line and see if if it crosses the light source. He was adjusting a ruler thing to see if the red line crosses. That line didn't cross at all
