I upgraded from the LP-6 and wow the difference was big. Went from 2-D to 3-D sound when I first heard them. My mixes are translating even better now.

I use the kali LP 6 after comparing to the rocket 6 hs5 and ns 10s I have I honestly enjoy the lp 6 over all of them amazing monitors. If your able to, please review the lp 6 sometime in the future.

I have the LP-6 with a subwoofer. They are fantastic. With the LP-8 you may not need sub if the room acoustic is decent.

I got a pair of the lp 6’s I love the sound I get from them. I also experience the hiss from these monitors as well. Idk what the deal is.

The Hiss in the monitor is due to the class D amplifiers. New Krk g4 have class D amps as well and have the same Hiss, even with nothing plugged into it. How do these compare to the Yamaha HS8's?

The trick with the hiss is to put them back further ( i have some lp-6's), even a foot further back and the the hiss wont be an issue. plus in my experiece by setting the speakers back a bit allow the bass to develope better. Also ways best to put speakers in that perfect triangle position anyways.

Kali Audio In-8 V2 monitors are supposed to correct the hiss you mentioned. They are supposed to be quieter according to a review I heard. Nice video and thanks for doing it....

Hey, really nice review! The newer IN-5 are just now shipping and the dreaded hiss problem is gone. A 12dB reduction in hiss self-noise as compared to IN-8 and previous LP series - that's a huge drop! Anyway, was about to pull the trigger on 2-way Neumann KH 120 A or Adam A7X pair but might give the Kali IN-5 a go for half the price. Any thoughts/opinions?
