Speed picking progress

As a left handed guitarist who plays a regular guitar I always made excuses for my lack of picking skills. My legato has always been passable but I've never got the hang of speed picking/shredding. I've been working on it for exactly a year now and gone from very slow, clumsy picking to this. Still a bit clumsy and nowhere near as fast as I'd like, but it's definitely getting there. A year ago I was struggling with 16th notes at 80bpm. Use of a metronome as a practice tool has worked wonders.
