I work in our prisons. Trust me when I say that our prisons are a harsh enough punishment... However, I will say that we try to do what we're supposed to do legally FOR our inmates. They still have rights and they do matter in our prisons and prisoners still have recourse when the wrong things are done. When we send our prisoners out to another country, we don't have any way to guarantee them their basic rights. What we have done to this man is so fucking wrong and its disgusting.
