The children escape and free the Zillo Beast, which goes on a rampage through the facility, before finding Echo and Emerie. Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshair infiltrate the base but are captured by Hemlock's CX operatives. Echo and Omega free Nala Se, Rampart, and the other clone prisoners while Emerie takes the other children to safety. Nala Se goes to destroy the facility's data, to protect Omega and prevent the Empire from using her research, but Rampart kills her and plans to use the research for leverage with the Empire. Before she dies, Nala Se uses a grenade to destroy the data and kill Rampart. Hemlock attempts to convert Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshair into operatives, but Echo, Omega, and the other clones free them and defeat the existing operatives. Hemlock takes Omega hostage, but she helps Hunter and Crosshair kill him. They all escape to Pabu. Tarkin shuts down Tantiss and diverts its funding to Project Stardust. Emerie decides to join Echo in helping other clones while Omega and the Bad Batch remain on Pabu. Years later, an adult Omega leaves to join a rebellion against the Empire. Was the finale everything you expected and more? Or were you also underwhelmed by it? Also what would you rate the series overall now that we've got the full story? 🤔

I was kinda expecting Wrecker to die given his injuries sustained from last episode do have some focus, not to mention when Echo spoke to him at the end of the fight with the CX troopers, it had the vibes of a death scene.

Speaking of deaths, I paused my TV to laugh when CX-2 got impaled and was electrocuted to death because all those ridiculous fan theories died with him: Crosshair Clone, reborn Tech, brainwashed Cody (ok I was slightly open to this).

Also, if you look closely in the wide shot of Tarkin’s forces at Tantiss, you can see 3 commandos with markings similar to Scorch…. “Somehow Scorch has returned” into 3.

Overall, I enjoyed the season, it didn’t have the highs of 2 but didn’t have lows of 1 and 2. If I had to describe the season’s quality it would be consistent. For the most part, the season more or less had a similar quality to each episode (with some exceptions). My favorite of the season is “Shadows of Tantiss” mainly because I’m a sucker for prison breakouts and any scene with Palpatine in it. My least favorite is easily “The Harbinger” for obvious reasons.

Well, it’s been a wild ride boys. Some ups and downs for sure but I’m glad to have been a part of it.

I always loved the animation style of the Star Wars show, and The Bad Batch is definitely one of the best shows. Watching them grow as a family and having Crosshair come back to the side of good but seeing him struggle after being tortured was just deep. I hope we see adult Omega again in another show, and hopefully, we haven't seen the last of the Bad Batch. 10/10
