2024 Hyundai KONA Electric (the official name + model year of this Kona EV in Korea) final production model test driven and this is the first drive & impression 😎

I've pretty much went over all exterior reviews on previous vids and also quite a lot about the interior (not to mention that lots of things overlap with the KONA ICE models),
yet I finally managed to meet this 2024 Hyundai KONA EV in person in its final form and test drive it!

DK!!! That is awesome, cannot wait to hear about your production Kona EV testing and drive plus efficiency and how it compares to the ICE version. I checked out the Premium with Sunroof in local Hyundai dealer, ICE version, this looks very similar but does the front seats have heating/ventilated and do the rear passenger seats have heating as well? What is below the back floor is there room in there for a space saver tire? Can you show it in a future interior full review(not sure you've had chance to do a full review yet interior at least). Love that Frunk as well any specs on how many litres it is? May not be a big thing in Korea but where I live and in other countries does it tow(limits) and can it take a roofbox(limits), if you get chance to ask Hyundai Engineers please? :)

Dealer in Australia say small battery version will be 65, 000 Australian dollars or more. Crazy money. Get petrol version with double the range for half the price.

You'll note that both Hyundai and Kia have returned to pink conventional coolant allowed by placing the battery cooling panel outside the pack. The expensive blue coolant has been an annoyance for owners of the earlier-gen EVs post-mid-2019.

That magnetic piece to the left of the steering wheel is a gimmick only slightly better than the Elantra's painted on circle. In my opinion.
I would have rather preferred another screen or a finger print reader, or something better than a fridge magnet's friend. In fact, the cars went keyless so that I don't have to take the keys out of my pocket, and here I would be taking something else that needs to be magnetic so I can stick it there. I just don't see it.

Nice ev, vid. 64 kwh is expensive, I hope its better, even 40 kwh previous generation wasn't cheap. evs in genral are still very expensive, hope the battery prices come down, hopefully soon. 👍
