Okay, this game really does everything to not be taken seriously and displays another case of lazy programming. If you are able to reach the far right side of the battlefield by going through the Sylphs, you will almost auto win the fight. Why? Simply because it will render the Sylphs inactive. The closest Sylph will attack you but the other ones won't do anything. And when I say anything I mean absolutely NOTHING. They won't turn around, they won't move, they won't cast spells. They are stuck in this idle position until you've finished destroying the poor active Sylph who dared having a "fair" fight. I mean, this was very probably already in ToP PSX and FVE, but since you couldn't jump at this point of the game, going to the other side was usually out of question.
ToPX found a way to transform an already easy fight into a total joke. I can't deny I'm impressed. I hope this game will find a way to provide some kind of challenge because the first arc was a real walk in the park (except the next boss).
At least, I had fun with the hitboxes during the 2nd fight... sigh
