According to me chinese and russians are the most patriotic people,

The sales woman gestured a cross which meant 10 and also said Shi Yuan (10 Yuan) when asked. But when speaking into the phone she said Si Yuan which translated into 4 Yuan. Most southern Chinese can’t pronounce curled up tones so they often pronounce Shi as Si. In this case 10 became 4. You’ve experienced the same problem many Chinese faced when traveling to other parts of China.
