After buying this kit in the same configuration, I can say that this video is the most accurate to what the drums actually sound like. My kit sounds exactly like this one. Near-field tone, super vintage sounding, quick sound. Don’t expect the rack Tom to resonate like a modern drum, the mount on it is not “updated” like the mounts on the SQ1 kits- again, super vintage.

Very nice young man! I love the Vintage Series, but this is my least favorite wrap finish. I wonder if there will be any pleasant surprises for the Vintage Series at NAMM 19? I hope so!
