The more I see the Space Jams the more i'm impressed, it at least appears that JB put some real time and imagination into these to make them look more OG than any other 11 we've recently seen.

A couple corrections. The shoes have an encapsulated Nike Air unit. Zoom Air began with the XII. The Jumpman returns the correct way with him facing toward the toe. The direction of the Jumpman changed in 2006 starting with the DMP XI of 2006. The 45 XI was worn on court by MJ in the 1995 NBA Playoffs. He wore the 23 version in the movie so it more closely resembles the Playoff pair more so over the movie Space Jam. I'll have my review up on my channel when the shoes release my way.

The jumpman originally faced the front of the shoe. They changed it in like 06 i believe and made them always face right. They're going back to the OG look just like the patent leather cut.

This is easily my favorite shoe of all time... I'm so unbelievably excited to be able to have a chance to purchase them... I can't wait. I hope they aren't on a raffle through the sneakers app and they are just easily available.

this isn't the only one with both jumpmans facing forward xD. all original colorways had it as well. they flipped the left shoe backwards at some point and just now switched it back.

The reason the Jumpman is facing the opposite direction on the left shoe is because that's how the original pairs released in the '90's. They didn't change the direction of the Jumpman until the '00 pairs started releasing.

If you notice, the patent leather is raw or untreated where it is sewn to the shoe. You see a thin white trim on the top of the patent leather. The originals had this so Nike kept it the same. All the other 11's releases the trim is colored.

Retrospective when you look to the amazing box, the OG details and the beautiful OG patten leather cut, this have been the best Retro Releases since got his first Jordan 1! Period.
And when you look what Nike did in 22 and what they do in 23, I would be surprised, if any upcoming release will ever be able to put the 2016 Space Jam from the Thron.

OG Jordan XI's always had the Jumpman on the ankle facing forward.
They did it on this release to keep it true to the originals.
Even on the 2000 Jams they faced forward and the 2001 Black/Varsity Red Jordan XI's as well.
