Hickory Dickory Dock by Agatha Christie | Audiobook | Rewrite Book in Simple for Learning English

Different things disappear in an ordinary hostel for students. The residents at Hickory Road do not panic considering it nonsense. A book, a bag or a lamp are not very valuable. You can easily forget about them. But the famous detective Hercule Poirot believes that the events are more serious than they seem at first glance. After all, the list of stolen things looks rather unusual. After a while they find the corpse of one of the inhabitants. It was a murder staged to look like a usual suicide. The case which seemed innocuous, takes a very serious turn. Will the detective be able to save the situation? Will he show his genius once again? The children's verselet, that became the title of the novel, sounds really ominously. The novel's atmosphere perfectly emphasizes this.

The narrator does many voices and accents. Let’s give him credit for great effort and a free service.

Hugh Fraser is my first choice for the narration of Agatha Christie but this man is very refreshing ❤

Thank you so much. Right now, I have the quinsy (follicular tonsillitis), and I feel awful. Listening to this audiobook (besides taking antibiotics and vitamins) helps me so much to cope with the illness. Thank you so much for uploading this! 💜 Stay safe and healthy, everyone 🌞

What a women! I Love her perfectionist personality.Miss Lemon is so truthful. I feel like I could never reach her standard. We all try. This story was quite different than others, it opens my eyes to other things between male and female thinking,

Thanks so very much for sharing this great book. Although the narration is actually quite good, I find that I can’t really get into the story. I have been terribly spoiled with hearing Hugh Fraser do the voice acting and he is absolute perfection, so I just can’t accept substitutes.

Oh wow! Excellent read and, as others have stated, I definitely didn’t expect the ending (as it always is with Agatha Christie)! Thank you for posting this! ✌🏻

'But there's one thing I don't understand inspector."
I realised Hobhouse, was the smuggler because she did not fit in with the other hostel residents and travelled abroad on a regular basis, but why did Chapman, pour ink on Elizabeth's work?

Boy, with a friend like Pat, who needs enemies? I'm glad I don't have friends that sort through my underwear drawer, or write to my parents behind my back, lol. And she doesn't seem to realize how impossible she is either!

It's so difficult being the narrator in an audio. Keeping it up demanding discipline. I take my hat off to them. 😎🐈‍⬛
