I can definitely agree with you by some members of the psychology department being nitpicky. But I just take whatever they have to say in. And if you do not have an answer to whatever question, I was told that you simply reply “I am not aware of what you’re referring to but I am happy to conduct further research in the subject matter.” My academic is completely different compared to yours. I am currently pursuing a BA/MA in Psychology/Experimental Psychology. I graduate in May with my BA and the following May with my MA. So I am currently thinking about topics for my thesis but I don’t know what to do research on. I’m most likely going to do something Neuroscience related because I hope to pursue a doctorate in Neuroscience. Just wanted to share and keep up the good work! And you have inspired me to work even harder simply because you have shown me the ups and downs of pursuing a PhD and because you are a pow which I do not see very often.

Would you say theres enough time to work during your program? The one i want to apply to is unfunded and although im not worried about loans and debt, i am qorried about how i can pay for my own stuff and actually live if that makes any sense😭 I also dont want to sacrifice my studies or anything either but i need to know i can pay for my gas and food and stuff like that

I’m not sure if this is too personal or not but what school do you go to? I noticed you said you’re in a psyd program and I’m getting my masters now and am trying to decide between going the PhD or Psyd route. I’m interested in Sport Psychology but it doesn’t seem like many people choose the psyd route. I’m was pro PhD but now I feel like I’m leaning more towards the psyd route because I’m not a huge fan of research

Has your school mentioned at all what it will be like studying for the part 1 and part 2 EPPP board exams? Also, just curious, but what would you rank in terms of difficulty in grad school. 1. classes 2. dissertation 3. getting and completing an internship 4. studying for boards and obtaining licensure?
