The Tomcat is just such an amazingly capable bomber, with LANTIRN, Jester and GBU, and also just with dumb bombs and there so little impact on speed and range.
It is probably one of the fastest ways to get 2x2000lbs and 2x1000lbs GBUs over a long distance.
