Love this! Throughout the years and the more I’ve grown in Christ our Christmas gift wise has gone through transformation lol. Also the older they get the more expensive things get so you are not alone in that thinking. So this year we are doing 3 tree gifts ( this mimics the gifts brought to Jesus: Gold = their big gift, Frankincense = a gift that will draw them closer to God, Myrrh = a gift that will bring them together), A sibling gift, and on Christmas Eve we do their pj gift and their stockings. Now sticking to the 1 per category is the challenge for me lol so we shall see.
