Module 6 Lesson 8 Represent measurement data with line plots.
Module 6 Lesson 9 Analyze data to problem solve.
RDW Answers
Lesson 1: 15 students were surveyed in all because 5 x 3 = 15.
Lesson 2: The tape diagram that represents kick ball has 6 boxes with 7 in each box. The tape diagram that represents dodge ball has 3 boxes with 7 in each box.
Lesson 3: I plotted the number of books each student read on the number line. The M is for Maria, the D is for Drew, and the R is for Randee.
Lesson 4: The Cubs scored 3 less goals than the Hawks. The Hawks scored 8 goals and the Cubs scored 5 goals. 8-3=5.
Lesson 5: There are 20 quarter inches. I can count the intervals to find the answer. I can also multiply 5 x 4 because there are 4 quarter inches in 1 inch and there are 5 inches in all.
Lesson 6: I plotted the number of laps that the students walked.
Lesson 7: I plotted the number of books at each height on the number line.
Lesson 8: There were 3 more lamps that were 17 ½ inches because 4 – 1 = 3.
Lesson 9: He saved $5 for 6 months for $30. He saved $10 for 6 months for $60. David saved $90 in all because 30 + 60 = 90.
