In the new V-ray 7 for Sketchup you place the diffuse map in the diffuse slot. When double clicking on the diffuse slot you see layer1 with 2 slots. The top slot is used for the diffuse map. Can I place the AO map in the Blending / Opacity slot or do I need to make a 2nd layer to place AO map?

Sir, you have a good PC, renders fast, for everyone who wanna learn designing and rendering 1st rule we need to buy a better pc for rendering, otherwise we end up frustrated for rendering 1h and no good quality :/
